Francis and Radar have done it again. Silver Fern's Chrystal Opal aka Chrissie is a gorgeous light rose grey appaloosa. Born 10/19/2007 weighing in at 17.1 lbs at birth and with an IgG of 1475. She is a robust, healthy youngster. At just 2 weeks of age she weighed 30 lbs. At 4 months she weighed 78#'s. All her light coloured fiber at birth has grown in a lovely shade of silver grey. She has great luster and her fleece is very dense. Chrissie's conformation is excellent. She is full of personality. It looks as if Chrissie will follow in brother Tulok's footsteps.

1st at the Southern Select under Jude Anderson.

1st at the very competitive Futurity under Amanda Vandenbosch. Tulok was awarded the Blue by Amanda in a class of nine and her comments included "solid bone, independent locks right to the skin, and good density".

1st and Color Champion in the Buckeye show under Wade Gease.

1st Place & Color Champion at the 2007 AOBA Alpacafest. Judge Tim Lavan commented that Tulok clearly displayed the most advanced fleece in the class. He stood in 1st place because of his independence of locks, consistency of colour & density.
